The teen fashionista who went viral after making her sister’s prom dress from scratch is now rolling in requests.
To review, Courtney Lewis a 14-year-old design student at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington.
She was said to be “nervous” about making a prom dress for her sister,Mikayla.But in the end, her big sis said she “felt like a princess” on prom night. As Courtney’s motherCrystaltold “Good Morning America,” “I’m especially proud of [Courtney] because she was really swamped at school… and instead of resting all weekend, she was working on the dress.”
Mikayla posted a photo of herself in the stunning dress on the ‘Gram, and it racked up thousands of likes and re-shares. And now? Courtney has received over 50 requests for custom gowns. But sorry folks, while the teen said she’s “flattered” by all the support, she wants to focus school.
