This story was awesome for 2 reasons:
- It happened in West Sacramento
- It shows the power of love in a major way.
A woman called West Sacramento police Monday morning concerned that her 84-year-old elderly mother was locked out of her car. When police asked further, the woman said that the elderly lady, instead of herself calling police or a tow truck to open the door, called her 89-year-old husband and asked him to bring the keys and come unlock the car door.
Being the good husband that he is, he promptly grabbed his cane, and made the 7 mile trek to his wifey's car, according to KCRA-TV.
Here's the most awesome part... when asked why he didn't call for a car-ride to her location, he simply answered "It's my wife. When she calls and needs help, it is my job to help."
Just like a boss...and a good man and husband too. Way to go...
