The 20th Annual Sacramento Museum Day takes place on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The participating 26 local museums will open their doors to offer free or half-priced admission to the community from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to offering free or reduced cost admission, many of the destinations are offering special activities during Sacramento Museum Day. The activities range from special staffing by docents (for some smaller museums not normally open on Saturdays) to the following: Find a list of participating museums on sacmuseums.org. California Automobile Museum, Fairytale Town, Powerhouse Science Center, Sacramento Children’s Museum, Sacramento History Museum and the Sacramento Zoo.
Super Sunday 5K & 10K! The Super Sunday Run features a 5k race, a 10k race, the Future Stars’ 1k community run/walk, and Pee-Wee 40-Yard Dash. The beautiful 10k course leads runners from the Sacramento State campus through the Campus Commons neighborhood and back over the Guy West Bridge with a finish inside Hornet Stadium on the CSUS campus. Saturday, Ashley Caprice will perform at the Sacramento Kings Halftime Show with the Hundreds Unit dancers to kick off Black History Month. Women of all shapes, sizes, and dance ability come together to perform at major events. Come thru and watch us perform at the Golden 1 Center!
