Fun Things to Do In Sacramento This Weekend!

Sacramento Promenade of Mermaids. Saturday, May 20 at Old Sacramento Riverfront Park. Sat Noon-4pm. Free. Prizes, mermaids walking around will be awarded for best costume for both adult and child entrants. Pre-Promenade activities include The Dive Bar Mermaids and Mermen photo booth, Pixie Tribe face painting, Merman Alfonso’s handmade mermaid treasures in his Merman’s Grotto, and the Pirates of Sacramento’s monkey cannon arcade.

Fish Family Fest. Saturday, 3pm. Cal Expo Fairgrounds. KIDS 12 & Under are FREE. Bring a chair, blanket or something to sit on. FREE KIDS ZONE WITH INFLATABLES, VIDEO GAME TRUCK, STAR WARS CHARACTERS AND MORE

Harley-Davidson Sacramento Mile. Saturday. 6pm. The series leaves the desert and travels west to Sacramento for the famed Harley-Davidson Sacramento Mile on Saturday, May 20. Located in one of flat track’s traditional hotbeds, the Sacto Mile is rich with history and has been the site of many thrilling down-to-the-wire battles on the twins.

Party with Big Al at Double Nickel Smokehouse inside Pins & Strikes with DJ Reese Roundtree spinning the hottest throwbacks and party anthems.

Broadway from Riverside Boulevard to 26th Street, down to 2nd Avenue to Roadway will be car-free this Sunday, May 21 from 8am-Noon. Whether it’s yoga on the street, bicycle demos, or street performers, the day will be filled with activities for the whole family to enjoy.
