Ohio Pastor Wants To Sue NFL For Halftime Show, Says Souls Are At Risk

An Ohio pastor wants to sue the NFL for over 860-trillion-dollars because of its Super Bowl Halftime show. Dave Daubenmire, who is the leader of Pass the Salt Ministries in Hebron, says he's appalled by the performances of singers Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, calling it a porn show. He insists the NFL failed to warn its viewers about the nature the show and discriminated against him and his values. He says he's met with an attorney and will move forward with his lawsuit, and it will reportedly also name Pepsi and his local cable company as plaintiffs.

Daubenmire, who hosts a regularly scheduled podcast on religion, was sued by the ACLU in the late 1990s for mixing prayers and football at a public school where he was a coach.
