Not sure what took so long, but the legendary Tina Turner will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The "Whats Love Got To Do With It" singer is inducted in the hall as part of Ike and Tina but she is now inducted as a solo artist.
Turner will be inducted along with Jay Z, The Go-Go's, Foo Fighters, Carole King and Todd Rundren. With Tina, The Go-Go's and Carole being inducted into the hall, it makes it the first time that three female acts have been inducted in the Performers category in a single class.
The 81 year old singer will be inducted into the hall on October 30th at Fieldhouse in Cleveland. It will be aired on HBO.
