Jay Z To Be Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

European Premiere of Disney's "The Lion King"

Jay Z can dust his shoulders off one more time with another accomplishment to add to his long list of accomplishments.

The platinum selling and billion dollar having Brooklyn rapper has made history by becoming the first living solo rapper to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hall made the announcement Wednesday morning (May 12).

Hov got the nod his first year of eligibility which is 25 years after the artist drops their first record. Jigga Man will be only the third solo rap artist to be inducted, following Tupac who was inducted in 2017 and Biggie in 2020.

Those being inducted along with Hov is the great Tina Turner (who should've been inducted much earlier), Foo Fights, Carole King, The Go-Go's and Tod Rundren.

The induction ceremony will be held October 30th at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.
