Former Bad Boy Artist Black Rob Dies At The Age Of 51

We are losing too many legendary artist in hip-hop. We lost another hip-hop great, Black Rob at the age of 51. Black Rob was a former artist of P. Diddy's label Bad Boy, who had the hit single "Whoa."

Earlier this month we saw video of Black Rob in the hospital bed giving praise and condolences to DMX after his death. Black Rob didn't look so good in the video. After that video surfaced, another video surfaced of him saying that he was indeed not doing so well.

Today (April 17), according to legendary Promoter Van Silk, the "Whoa" rapper passed away . DJ Self confirmed the news as well.

Back in 2015, Black Rob, real name Robert Moss, had a series of strokes that put him in the hospital. According to AllHipHop.com the former Bad Boy artist died from a kidney failure.

Black Rob was no where near a one hit wonder. He released 4 albums and was featured on countless songs, including G-Depp's hit single "Special Delivery" and Mase's "24 Hours To Live."

Before Rob's death, fans started a GoFundMe for the rapper so he can get dialysis. At the time of his passing the GoFundMe raised over $27,000.

Prayers to Black Rob's family, friends and fans. Black Rob leaves behind 4 children.
