Justin Timberlake Planned Wardrobe Malfunction Says Janet Jackson's Stylist

Might be 17 years too late, but the cat is finally out the bag and according to Janet Jackson's former stylist Wayne Scot Lukas, the infamous 2004 Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction" was all Justin Timberlake's idea. Talking with Page Six, Lukas said that Justin wanted to "outdo" Brtiney Spears, Madonna and Christina Aguilera's racy three-way kiss at the 2004 MTV awards, so he thought of doing something more shocking at the Super Bowl.

According to Lukas speaking with Page Six, Janet Jackson was supposed to wear a break away dress, where Justin would step on it and it would reveal Janet Jackson in a pearl G-String reminiscent of the one Kim Cattrall wore on "Sex in the City." However, from what Lukas says, that planned was axed a few days before the big show and the "Cry Me A River" singer went for the tear away bosom which was the end result that we all saw live on television with one of Janet Jackson's breast being exposed.

After the incident, Timberlake labeled the ordeal a "wardrobe malfunction," but according to Lucas, it definitely was not a malfunction. He told Page Six, that the wardrobe did what it was supposed to do.

Recently, JT did apologize to Janet Jackson for what happened (even though I think it was years too late) and Justin's manager said that Janet forgave Justin years ago.

Lukas has some more juicy industry stories from his years of being a stylist that is featured in his upcoming tell all book which is for now being titled “Wardrobe Malfunctions: Receipts from the Front Lines and the Front Row.” The book isn't published yet but he says it will have all the scandals of Hollywood.
