Cops Across The Country Are Under Investigation For Storming U.S. Capitol

Trump Supporters Hold "Stop The Steal" Rally In DC Amid Ratification Of Presidential Election

Numerous off-duty police officers from across the country have been outed as participating in the Capitol insurrection that happened January 6. According to the New York Times, BuzzFeed and others, police officers have been identified as being part of the Capitol breach, which has caused many police departments to open an investigation into the matter.

Seattle Police Department has announced that two of their officers are under investigation and has been put on administrative leave for their alleged participation in the insurrection. According to the New York Times, police departments in Texas, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire have also launched investigations into the possibility that some of their officers may have been part of the Capitol breach.

Troy, New Hampshire Police Chief David Ellis is coming under fire after he was identified as an alleged rioter. Many residents in the city are calling for the police chief to resign for his alleged involvement.

According to reports, Lt. Roxanne Mathai of San Antonio is under investigation after she posted a video of herself at the US Capitol while Capitol Police can been seen using tear gas.

Outlets are also reporting that Zelienople Police Department in Pennsylvania is investigating if Officer Timothy Goldie broke any regulations or laws while he was at the Stop the Steal protest.

Let's not forget that 10 years the FBI has warned that law enforcement across the nation has been infiltrated by white supremacists and according to former FBI special agent, Michael German, it continues to be infiltrated by white supremacists.

If the reports are true, I hope all these cops get the book thrown at them multiple times. We need to rid our police departments of such hate and prejudice that runs rampant across America
