Rapper Swae Lee, 1/2 of the Hip-Hop duo Rae Sremmurd, lost his hard drive at LAX on December 14. He put out a $20,000 reward for anybody who finds it. On Thursday night, somebody popped up on Swae Lee's Instagram live with the handle @swaeleeharddrive saying they had his hard drive. Using a distorted voice and wearing a mask to hide their identity, the alleged ransom holder demanded $150,000 for it.
To prove that the hard drive was actually Swae Lee's, the person held up other possessions of Swae Lee's including a diamond encrusted watch, a wad of cash and a mask in addition to the hard drive.
The masked person posted the items on their Instagram page, saying if 20,000 people commented on the picture, they would release a song from the hard drive. They also demanded a feature with Drake and Swae Lee.
You can check out the Instagram video below as well as the pictures of the ransomed items from the @swaeleeharddrive Instagram page.
