This is very sad news. TMZ is reporting that Tommy "Tiny" Lister, known for his role as "Deebo" from the Friday movies has passed away at the age of 62. According to TMZ law enforcement received a call around 3pm Thursday about a man unresponsive in an apartment.
That man ended up being Tiny. The Friday star was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no word on the cause of the death at the moment.
Tiny played many tough guys role, including his legendary role in the cult classic Friday. He also had a stint at professional wrestling, going by the name Zeus.
Prayers out to his family. This is a sad day in entertainment.
