Former "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett is being indicted by a special prosecutor in Chicago over false claims he was the victim of a hate crime attack last year. Smollett claimed he was attacked by two men who called him the N-Word and homophobic slurs, though prosecutors eventually said he faked the whole thing.
Smollett was accused of hiring two brothers to stage the attack and he was eventually charged for filing a false police report. That charge was abruptly dropped after he agreed to forfeit his ten-thousand-dollar bond. Word to the wise, don't lie about hate crimes. It makes you look like a fool and then you can go to jail.
