Bill Cosby's Team Responds to Eddie Murphy's SNL Joke

Superstar Comedian Eddie Murphy made his big return to the ‘Saturday Night Live’ stage. He brought out a few superstar comedian friends to join him on the stage for his opening monologue. Those stars included Dave Chapelle, Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan. While most people enjoyed the opening, there was one person who wasn't.

During his opening monologue, Murphy took a few jabs at disgraced comedian Bill Cosby. Murphy said during his opening ”If you were to tell me 30 years ago that I would be this boring, stay-at-home house dad and Bill Cosby would be in jail — even I woulda took that bet.”

Eddie's and Bill's beef goes way back, to the time he recorded his record breaking "Raw" stand up. I guess Eddie holds grudges for 30 plus years. Bill's team didn't like the little jab Eddie took and released a statement calling Murphy a "Hollywood Slave." You can check out what Eddie said and Bill's response in the tweets below.
