Barbie ruled the box office for a third straight weekend.
The Margot Robbie comedy earned another $53 million, taking its domestic total to $459.4 million. Globally, the blockbuster has surpassed the billion-dollar mark in just 17 days.
The Jason Statham action sequel Meg 2: The Trench opened in second with $30 million, followed by Oppenheimer ($28.7 million) and another new release, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem ($28 million).
Haunted Mansion dropped from third to fifth with $9 million.
