Chris Stapleton was the most-played artist on TouchTunes jukeboxes in 2017, the music company has revealed. Interestingly, country music accounts for more than half of the most-played artists and songs on digital jukeboxes this year.
Digital jukeboxes in 65,000 bars and restaurants across the U.S. Stapleton claims both the top artist distinction and the top song honor for "Tennessee Whiskey."
In fact, the track held the #1 spot for more than 80 weeks -- longer than any other song in TouchTunes history.
Meanwhile, Jon Pardi was named the year's top-played newcomer.
