DA Thien Ho to Launch The People vs. the Golden State Killer at Sacramento Public Library
New book offers behind-the-scenes look at the investigation and prosecution of one of the most notorious serial killers in U.S. history
WHAT: Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho will launch his new book, The People vs. the Golden State Killer, at the Sacramento Public Library’s Central Library on Wednesday, November 12.
The memoir and true-crime account offers an unprecedented inside look at one of California’s most infamous criminal cases, chronicling the pursuit, arrest, and prosecution of Joseph James DeAngelo, while honoring the resilience of the survivors and victims’ families.
The book also reflects on themes of justice, trauma, and redemption through DA Ho’s personal lens as a prosecutor and immigrant who rose to lead Sacramento County’s justice system.
The event will feature remarks by DA Ho on the inspiration, behind-the-scenes insights, and compelling stories that shaped the book, followed by a Q&A and book signing.
The People vs. the Golden State Killer will be released on November 11 and is already a #1 New Release on Amazon.
Media representatives are invited to attend. DA Ho will be available for interview immediately following remarks.
