The Jacquelyn is Sacramento's newest private social club in Midtown—a thoughtfully designed space where creativity, wellness, and authentic connection come together. We're not your typical exclusive social club—we're warm, welcoming, and passionate about supporting Sacramento's incredible artistic community. The club is predominantly female and majority, minority which makes us an anomaly within social clubs.
The concept was born from the life and photography of Jacquelyn “Jackie” Anderson— a legacy project brought to life by her husband, Jim. At our heart, we are a love story — a love letter to Sacramento and to Jackie.
We're thrilled to share The Anderson Resident Artist Program—a 3-month fellowship that's transformational for working artists.
This isn't just studio space—we're offering artists the rare opportunity to focus entirely on their craft without the financial pressure of earning a living while creating. The selected resident artist will produce a completely new body of work inspired by the photography of Jackie Anderson, the remarkable Sacramento artist who inspired our entire club.
At the end of the residency, we'll host an end-of-residency art show featuring their work for our members and guests.
If you're an artist—or know one who deserves this opportunity—applications are open now. You can email RAP-at-the-jacquelyn-dot-com or find the full RFP at-the-jacquelyn-dot-com.
Want to experience what we're all about? Join us during Sac Open Studios for our special open house, September 13-14 and 20-21.
Food and drinks are available through our restaurant, The Cellar.
