Stage Nine Entertainment invites the community to join a Disneyland 70th birthday celebration at Stage Nine on July 17, 2025. To commemorate the special day, 70 pop-up artifacts from the last seven decades (many one-of-a-kind items) plus a selection of vintage attraction posters from the 50s, 60s and 70s will be on display and available for purchase throughout the day (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.). The special items and artifacts will be located upstairs in the various retail spaces and downstairs in The Underground Vault.

Plus, Third Thursday guests can tour Stage Nine’s new Hawthorne’s Hideout, an extraordinary speakeasy experience and blend of
technology, theming, and escapism
And, coinciding with a variety of Third Thursday activations happening throughout the district, Stage Nine Entertainment is also offering public tours of Hawthorne’s Hideout from 4 to 8 p.m. (at the top of each hour). The permanent new feature is an extraordinary speakeasy hidden deep within The Underground Vault. The all-new hideout is a highly themed, interactive dining and drinking experience created by the masterminds at Stage 9 Exhibits and Stage Nine Entertainment. The hidden tiki-explorer space is packed wall-to-wall with real antiques, dazzling artifacts, and one-of-a-kind treasures from the legendary adventures of Elias Hawthorne, a fantastical fictional character. Behind a secret door, guests will enter a world of mystery, storytelling, and surprises — including animatronics by Garner Holt Productions, immersive lighting and sound effects, improv interactions, and drink-triggered surprises that bring the Hideout to life.
