The City of Rancho Cordova is proud to host the 40th Annual Fourth of July Celebration, a two-day community tradition packed with patriotic hometown parade with over 65 floats and 11 bands, family-friendly fun, live music, scream-worthy carnival rides, and the best fireworks show in the region. From circus thrills to rockin’ bands and tasty eats, it’s a hometown event you don’t want to miss.
Thursday, July 3rd
6 – 10 AM Media Preview, Hagan Park, 2197 Chase Drive
Rancho Cordova is one of the only cities in the Sacramento region to kick off its festivities on July 3rd! The fun runs from 4 – 11 PM at Hagan Park. Join us for a private preview tour of the event Thursday morning.
· “It’s Showtime Circus” brings high-flying thrills and jaw-dropping stunts that will wow audiences of all ages. Catch an exclusive sneak peek of the action before the big show.
· Get a behind-the-scenes look at our pyro engineers as they prepare for the evening’s fireworks show. Rancho Cordova’s event will blast off the best show in Northern California.
· Ride the Ferris Wheel or drive a bumper car, to show viewers what’s in store on July 3rd and 4th in Rancho Cordova. Click here for a full listing of all the exciting carnival attractions.
Friday, July 4th
6 – 8:30 AM Media Preview, Hagan Park, 2197 Chase Drive
Start your Fourth of July with a private pass into the carnival and festival grounds and get a preview of the All-America Mile Run and Fourth of July Parade festivities before they kick off. The fun runs from 9 – 11:30 AM along Coloma Road and then continues into the evening 4 – 11 PM at Hagan Park.
· Join us for a sneak peek of the breathtaking and high-flying “It’s Showtime Circus.”
· Hop on the Tilt-A-Whirl or test your luck at the prize booths—give viewers a sneak peek of all the carnival fun waiting for the whole family.
· Get a sneak peek at the 65+ floats and performers as they arrive at the parade staging area before the parade starts at 10 AM. This year’s parade will feature 10 youth bands, plus the Sheriff’s Band!
9 AM All America Mile Run, W.H. Williamson Park,10551 Coloma Road
Join us for the fifth annual All America Mile Run! The anticipated 200 participants – families, children, active seniors, and competitive runners – will race down Coloma Road in festive all-American attire. This is an official USA Track and Field Sanctioned and Certified One Mile Road Running Course.
10 AM Parade and Youth Band Competition, Staging Area: Coloma Road and McGregor Dr., Rancho Cordova
To cap off the morning is the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July Parade that is famous for its hometown flavor. Thousands line the 1.5-mile route to experience more than 65+ floats and performances. Plus, see the 10 youth bands and the Sheriff Band as they go all out to compete for bragging rights!

General admission is just $5 online and $10 at the gate—kids 5 and under get in free! Parking is $10 (cash only). Grab an all-day unlimited carnival pass for $30 in advance at RanchoCordovaJuly4th.com or KP International Market (cash only) by July 2. Ride passes go up to $40 at the event, so don’t wait!
VIP Tickets
Our limited-edition VIP tickets—returning this year due to high demand! Each $80 ticket includes two complimentary beverage tickets, covered seating with tables and chairs, upgraded private restrooms, and prime views of the concert and fireworks shows. Plus, mingle with our local favorites—Burning Barrel, Log Off, and Movement Brewing—inside the exclusive VIP area. Each ticket admits one adult and two kids (12 and under). Ages 13+ require their own ticket.
