Police are on the hunt for a suspicious woman who called 911 to the home where Young Scooter fled from on the day he died.
In new audio TMZ released on Monday, March 31, a woman who claimed to be from the "neighborhood watch" told a dispatcher she saw a naked woman being dragged into a residence on William Nye Drive. She claimed the woman was being abused in a dispute over drugs and alleged the victim called out to other men with weapons, who allegedly opened fire three times. She also encouraged police to hurry because the alleged victim was bleeding from her head.
The woman proceeded to tell authorities that she had long suspected the seven people inside the home of being involved with drug dealing or pimping. She even claimed that the female victim had a baby with her. However, once police arrived, they realized the property had been "swatted," which happens when someone makes a phony call to emergency services in hopes of drawing a massive police presence to a specific location. None of the allegations the woman made were legit and no injured woman was discovered at the property.
The only issue officers encountered was the man who slammed the door in their face. The police's presence spooked Young Scooter and another man, who ran out the back of the house. Young Scooter was identified as one of the men who sustained a serious injury to his leg after hopping over two fences. The Atlanta rapper tore his femoral artery and was taken to Grady Marcus Trauma Center where he was pronounced dead. He had just turned 39 on the day of his death.
Police are still searching for the anonymous woman who made the call. Listen to the audio above and see what The Breakfast Club had to say about the situation below.
