According to a list compiled by Historic Tours of America, the best summer destination in California for 2025 is San Francisco! The outlet named Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz Island, and Pier 39, among the storied locale's must-see sites.
San Diego also made the list for its Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, and La Jolla attractions.
Here's what Historic Tours of America had to say about one of San Francisco's most popular attractions:
