Several reports of broken glass being spread on slides at multiple local parks, including Hagemann Park, Jack Williams Park, and El Padro Park, were made to Livermore police on Thursday.
The Livermore Area Recreation and Park Department rangers have began cleaning up the broken glass.
The police noted that young children who play in the parks are at great risk of bodily harm due to the broken glass. Call the Livermore police at (925) 371-4987 if you have any information regarding these incidents or if you notice shattered glass on a playground in a park.
