Itβs a new year, new home forSandithe shelter dog. The 12-year-old pitbull-boxer mix spent more than 2,461 days at the Marion-Grant County Humane Society in Indiana, but after all that time, sheβs been adopted by her new family and finally headed to her forever home on January 3rd.
Sandi spent more than six years at the shelter - longer than any employee! But now sheβs part ofErinandCarrie Rhodesβfamily, who said they βcouldnβt stop thinking aboutβ her after they met. When the longtime resident left the shelter, she wore a small red crown and staff sent her off with kisses while they shed a few happy tears.
