Flight attendants on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London to New York City marveled at the holiday spirit in the air when a man named Jack gave up his first class seat so an 88-year-old woman named Violet could enjoy the luxury experience.
Violet had been a nurse in England and the U.S. But, she hadn’t been able to fly since having knee replacement surgery.
This was a big trip for Violet as she was back on her feet and excited to visit her daughter in New York City. And thanks to Jack, the trip to the states was extra-comfortable, allowing her to begin her holiday trip feeling like a VIP. (Travel + Leisure)
