A national non-profit group that builds beds for children in need continues to grow.
Founded in 2012 in Idaho, the group -- Sleep in Heavenly Peace -- has just opened a new chapter in Clinton County, Indiana, and is excited to get to work with volunteers building dozens of beds.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace estimates that up to 2.2 million kids in the U.S. sleep on the floor every night. That’s why they raise money to buy supplies to build bunk beds with mattresses -- along with a pillow -- for those kids.
The idea is to help children get better sleep, which leads to them performing better in school and helping hem become more successful in anything they attempt. (WISH-TV)
