X's verse first appeared on “Where My Dogs At” from his 2012 mixtape The Weigh-In. The song arrived shortly after the 27th anniversary of DMX’s iconic debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot. "Bring Out The Worst" is the first single to come from DMX's upcoming posthumous LP DMX Features. The album is a compilation of never-before-heard collaborations between X and some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop. A tracklist has not been confirmed, however, Rolling Stone confirmed that artists like Kevin Gates and Wiz Khalifa will appear on the album.

The collection of rare collaborations will drop four years after X's Exodus album. The 13-track LP was the last album DMX recorded before his untimely death in 2021. X joined forces with various artists including Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Usher, Bono, Westside Gunn, Snoop Dogg and more.
