WALMART: Removing Violent Video Game Displays, But Not Guns, From Stores

Walmart is removing violent video game displays from its stores.

In the wake of the recent mass shootings, a memo has been circulated to stores to pull down signs or other displays that "contain violent themes or aggressive behavior." The games are still available for purchase. Stores have also been told not to play movies that include gun violence.

Walmart has taken criticism this week -- even from some employees -- for not changing its gun-sale policies after the shootings. Predictably, social media is in an uproar. (USA Today)
