Church Pays Off $7.2M in Medical Debts For Low Income Families #GoodNews

Another church is making headlines for helping low-income individuals and families erase their medical debt. Stetson Baptist Church in Central Florida will pay off over $7.2 million in medical debt for nearly 6,500 people.

The church also plans to use the donations to fund three foster homes for the next year. According to Senior Pastor Dan Glenn, they’re raising money for both the RIP Medical Debt program and Florida Baptist Children’s Homes.

Glenn says was inspired after hearing about a Kansas church that recently paid off over one million dollar for 2,000 families.
