Drake is reportedly being sued by a woman claiming she sustained a significant brain injury during his Madison Square Garden concert in 2016.
Amanda Giovacco claims the crowd was "rowdy" and she "was violently struck by a beer bottle that was thrown," according to The Blast.
Giovacco is not only suing Drake, but Madison Square Garden, Live Nation Worldwide and an employee named Joseph Picco. She claims those named in the suit did not prevent "aggressive and/or violent behavior" during the show despite knowing that Drake "has history of violence at his concerts."
Giovacco is also accusing the defendants of "allowing the venue to be overcrowded, serving excessive amounts of alcohol [and] failing to 'provide monitoring and surveillance of the premises during the concert as to prevent aggressive behavior from escalating,'" said The Blast.
Giocacco says the injury resulted in seizures that have allegedly prevented her from going to medical school.
