A new report has surfaced that the getaway driver for Nipsey Hussle's alleged killer tried to inform police but was turned away and dismissed by a desk officer.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the woman became alarmed once she saw her car and license plate on the news hours after the shooting. Her mother immediately called LAPD and scheduled to come in the following morning.

After arriving the woman claims she was told by the desk officer:

‘Well, don’t worry about it,’ you know, ‘Don’t listen to the news,’” the woman said in her grand jury testimony in May. “My mom said, ‘Well, she needs to talk to somebody.’ But he said, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ So we just left.”

It wasn't until the woman's mother reached out to the LAPD for a second time that her claims were seriously addressed by detectives.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police department claims that "the woman did not explicitly say her car was involved in a murder and that the conversation was a misunderstanding between her and the desk officer," according to The Los Angeles Times.

The officer that alleged turned her away is currently being investigated.
