That’s why they’ve put in the paperwork to trademark his signature slogan.
The LA Crips corporation want to legally use “The Marathon Continues” for services geared toward gang prevention and community building.
The application also mentions a documentary under the same name that’s set to be released this summer.
For the record, Nipsey was affiliated with the Crips while growing up in the area.
