TLC Remembers Lisa Left Eye Lopes 16 Years After Her Death

TLC's official Facebook page posted a simple tribute to original group member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes on the 16 year anniversary of her passing.

The post includes six pictures of Left Eye posing with bandmates Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The photos are accompanied by a caption made up of three emoji hearts - each heart presumably representing a member of the trio.

Lopes and TLC skyrocketed to fame in 1992 with the release of their debut album Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip.

After years of making chart topping music together, Lopes went solo and released Supernova in 2001.

In 2002, while filming a documentary in Honduras, Lopes was involved in a fatal car accident.

Left Eye was 30 years old.
