Tone Loc came out to some David Bowie sample of "Let's Dance," said something about the small crowd....although it filled up quite a bit a half an hour before the show, and then launched into his set.
Playing to a backing track with the house DJ rapping with him, he talked about how hot it was. Applauded the shaded folks in the back in the bleachers and did "Funky Cold Medina."
Tone Loc surprised everyone with a cover of Gin and Juice.
Then he invited the ladies to come up and do "Wild Thing," which sampled "Whoomp There It Is."
A quick 20 minute set, but the crowd that was here was into it. He got the party started for sure.
